Starting a new field of skills, career, work or learning something new always seems to be the difficult thing Most of us have to pass through. It takes extra energy, time and sometimes strength for most of us to concentrate and dissect what is in front of us.

Becoming an effective learner, the most important thing to work on is, developing the mindset that you are capable of improving your knowledge and skills. Believing in your own capacity for growth, knowing that you can do anything you set your mind to is one of the best ways to take advantage of the learning opportunities you pursue.

There is no best way to learn, no shortcut to learning and also no fast way to learning either. No two brains are the same and any mother with more than three children will tell you that this is fact. Learning requires you to understand your capabilities, learn at your own pace, even if it takes more time. Do not get pushed by what others are saying or the level other people are at. Don't rush your learning process so as to get to a particular destination as it often results in lack of confidence.

However, the way in which we approach learning can have a significant impact on our ability to acquire and retain new information. In this article, I will be talking on ways to learn effectively.

This plan should be realistic, achievable, and time-bound.

Consistency doesn't mean learnig one or two times a week. Your are consistent when you try as much as you can to add some thing to what you learnt yesterday, in the morning or during the day.
